Operations

IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. currently operates two manufacturing plants in the United States that manufacture, heat-treat, machine and market copper-beryllium, copper and similar specialty alloy products.

We are currently focused on the exploration, development and manufacturing of advanced alloys, in particular beryllium, beryllium oxides and beryllium master alloys. Advanced alloys are used in a broad range of specialized industrial applications such as nuclear power, oil and gas, defense, electronics and automotive. Beryllium is one of the least dense of all rare metals with one of the highest melting points of all the light metals and is used extensively in the cooling systems for nuclear reactors and as a shield and moderator in nuclear reactors.

We own beryllium properties in Utah and Colorado in the United States and beryllium properties in Brazil. All of our mineral properties are either formerly operating mines or adjacent to sites that are, or have been, mines.

IBC primary mineral properties are:IBC plans to source raw materials from its mineral properties for future manufacturing production. Bertrandite is the principal beryllium mineral mined in the United States. Pegmatite is the principal beryllium mineral mined in the rest of the world.

In addition to its mineral properties, IBC has acquired a comprehensive reference library which includes: details of beryllium mines, deposits and other occurrences worldwide; extensive geologic, topographic and bathymetric databases; and a comprehensive library of satellite imagery.
