Anthony Dutton
Position: President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Anthony is a seasoned business executive and entrepreneur with a
successful track record as an early stage investor and business founder.
His areas of expertise are corporate finance, business development and
strategic management. He is regularly engaged in developing strategic
and financial plans for early stage and high growth companies.
Anthony
holds a BA in Economics from the University of British Columbia and a
MBA from the Cranfield School of Management in the United Kingdom.
Anthony is a principal at Primary Capital Group and is also a director
of several public and private companies, both in Canada and the United
States.
Simon J. Anderson
Position: Chief Financial Officer
Simon is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial
reporting, corporate finance and management with public companies. He is
a director or officer of several Canadian and US-listed companies
ensuring public disclosure meets current standards and planning and
implementing acquisitions and divestitures. Previously, Simon was a partner with an international accounting and consulting firm practicing in the areas of business valuation, mergers and acquisitions and business planning services.
Dal S. Brynelsen
Position: Director
With over 30 years of experience in the mining industry, Dal has been
the president, CEO and a director of Vangold Resources Ltd. (VAN:TSX.V)
for the past 16 years and was instrumental in its restructuring. He was
also the Western Manager of corporate finance for a national brokerage
firm for four years during the downturn in mining and mineral
exploration. He has discovered, financed and brought to production two
gold mines in Canada. He is also a founding director of Griffin Mining
Ltd., a $700 million company listed on the AIM Exchange in London.
Griffin is the first western company to build a mine in China in the
last 100 years. Dal is a member of IBC's audit committee.
Major General David R. Heinz (Retired)
Position: Director
MajGen Heinz is a highly decorated retired senior U.S. Marine
Corps officer whose most recent military assignment was as the Program
Executive Officer (PEO) for the F-35 Lightning II Program in Arlington, VA. MajGen
Heinz has served in the U.S. military, in a variety of senior positions including
systems avionics instructor at the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, Regimental Air
Officer to 1st Marine Regiment in Camp Pendleton, Deputy Department
Head for the Aviation Weapons Systems Requirements Branch (APW) at
Headquarters, Marine Corps and Deputy Director for Operations, National
Military Command Center, J-3, Joint Staff, Pentagon.
MajGen Heinz graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering. He also has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a subspecialty in Artificial Intelligence from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval Warfare College. His decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal with Gold Star, Air Medal with bronze numeral 4, Navy Commendation Medal with three gold stars and the Navy Achievement Medal. He has flown over 3,000 flight hours in 22 T/M/S aircraft.
Alastair Neill
Position: Director
Mr. Neill is currently Executive Vice President of Dacha Strategic Metals and serves on the Advisory Board of Rare Earth Element World (REE World), an international organization dedicated to providing industry leadership in the rare earths, rare metals and critical metals sector.
Ian Slater
Position: Director
Ian is a Chartered Accountant with over 18 years of experience in
international finance in the global resource sector. He was CEO and a
director of Fortress Minerals ("Fortress"), a publicly trading Canadian
gold exploration and development company managed by the Lundin Group of
companies and listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Prior to his tenure at Fortress, Ian was the Managing Partner of Ernst
& Young's Canadian mining practice. He has substantial financial
experience and expertise in regions such as Central Asia and Russia, as
he served as a partner with Arthur Andersen LLP where he lead their
Central Asian mining practice for six years. Based in Kazakhstan with
Arthur Andersen, Ian negotiated with governments at all levels on behalf
of some of the resource industry's largest companies.
Mr. Slater is currently CEO and a founding director of Slater Mining
Corporation (SLM.P:TSX.V), an early stage publicly traded international
mining venture. Ian is a member of IBC's audit committee.
David Hinds
Position: Director, Manager of Aerospace and Defense Sales, IBC Engineered Materials
Lee Rice
Position: VP Exploration
Lee brings significant geological expertise to IBC. He is currently
serving as vice president and chief engineer of Data Technology
Services, Inc., a private Colorado-based company, which he founded in
1993 and served as its president until 1995. Data Technology provides
mapping and deposit evaluation services and develops processing
automation and control systems for the mineral and petroleum industries.
Lee is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Colorado and is a Registered Member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration. He worked as an exploration geologist in Humble Oil and Refining Co.'s (Exxon), Western Metals Division in 1970 and then worked for the U.S. Bureau of Mines, leaving in 1985 to found Data Technology. During his career, Lee has served as president of the Colorado Engineering Council, chairman of the Colorado Section of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME), regional vice president and director of SME, and chairman of the Mining and Exploration Division of SME. He is currently a member of the Colorado Engineering Council, the Geological Society of America, Sigma Xi the Scientific Research Society, the Society of Economic Geologists, and the SME. Until 2001, Lee served for 23 years within the National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors (NCEES) writing and grading the national Mining and Mineral Processing professional engineering examination. He has made numerous technical presentations at professional society meetings and has been a contributing author or editor of several publications. Lee holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University and a M.A. in Geology from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
Douglas Veitch
Position: Vice President of Business Development
Doug was previously Director of Global Bulk Products for
Brush Wellman Inc. where he was responsible for new product development for the
global industrial business division of Brush Wellman. Prior to working at Brush
Wellman he was a Senior Account Manager with E.I. DuPont de Nemours at
their Engineering Polymers Division in Troy, Michigan where he attained Six
Sigma Blackbelt status for top line growth. Before being promoted to DuPont
USA, Veitch spent 13 years at DuPont Canada in a range of increasingly senior
sales and customer focused positions. He has a B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Alberta.
Mark Wolma
Position: President of IBC Copper Alloys
Mark is the President of IBC Copper Alloys. He was previously VP of Operations
for Scherer Industrial Group, Inc. He has over30 years of experience in
manufacturing, sales and service of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic
apparatus. He is currently serving on the board of the Copper and Brass Service
Association and is formerly active in the Electrical Apparatus Service
Association.
Rajeev Jain
Position: Vice President of Sales
Rajeev received a Bachelor of Engineering in
Metallurgy in 1991 from Rourkela, India and an MBA from the Kelley School of
Business at Indiana University in 2008. He formerly worked at Hussey Cooper in
various senior positions for 10 years before joining Nonferrous Products as
VP Sales.
Ray White
Position: President, IBC Engineered Materials
Immediately prior to joining IBC, Mr. White was a division manager with the Integrated Optical Systems Division of L-3 Communications Corporation (NYSE:LLL), the sixth largest defence company in the US.
Jim Malone
Position: Vice President, Nuclear Fuels & Chair, IBC Nuclear Fuels Advisory Board
Malone has more than 40 years of
experience in the nuclear power industry, with a focus on the technical,
economic and planning aspects of nuclear fuels. He is formerly Vice President,
Nuclear Fuels for Exelon Generation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Exelon Corp, where he was responsible for their nuclear fuel cycle activities, including
procurement, safeguards, economics, and fuel cycle cost. Mr. Malone began his
career as an engineer in the utility reactor core analysis section of the
nuclear engineering department of United Nuclear Corporation. Prior to his
position with Exelon, Mr. Malone was a vice president at NAC International
where he participated in fuel cycle consulting including fuel reliability via
NAC's Stoller Nuclear Fuel Division. Mr. Malone graduated with a Bachelor of
Science degree in chemical engineering (nuclear) from Manhattan College and
received an MBA from Iona College in New York, with a Graduate School of
Business Award for Academic Excellence.
